Important member update
The Lifestyle Lounge is to become a cash only venue
Effective from 1st March
To all our members and guests
The Management Team have decided that with effect from March 1st, we are going to be a cash-only venue

There are two primary reasons for this:
Firstly. Members discretion:
The current Government's continued ideology and seemingly forced implementation of digital tracking is not something we, as a business agree with.
Although, we do take ID for membership purposes, this is on an encrypted database, for safety purposes and only accessible to the person taking the details.
We fully operate within the confines of our ICO Licence and keep all member details fully private.
The current government narrative will pursue the tracking of spend, ultimately tracking locations as to where and when people go and decide to spend their time and money.
Although our current system doesn't state our business name, we (and all other membership/service-led businesses) have no control over when such implementations take place and to what level of data this ID scanning will involve when digital transactions are made.
We do not agree that if members choose to visit a club, that the government should have any track of this. In our opinion; It's state surveillance on a deep and molecular level.
Why should people be digitally imposed and tracked when choosing their own social life at free will?
We cannot practice what we publicly preach, when it comes to discretion, if we feel there is even a minor chance that our guests are being digitally scrutinised via digital spend.
With this at the forefront of our minds, we will now be taking cash only from the above date until this current government is dissolved and/or until future notice.
Secondly. The rates charged for digital transactions are in our option tactically soaring in alignment with this current Government rhetoric.
Each charge costs us directly and we already have low door charges for members as a smaller social venue.
The charges are increasing monthly and becoming challenging to sustain with the current attack on small businesss in general.
I urge other small businesses to do the same. Whether you're a hairdresser, beautician, pub etc...
It's only by all making small stands against the abomination of small businesses together that we can hopefully make some sort of big impact.
We are sure you understand our reasons for this decision.
Cashpoints are available at the Premier, 4 doors down to the right of the club, nearby retail park and Tesco.
