Trans-Specific Club Policy
The Lifestyle Lounge are proud ambassadors and supporters of the Trans community.
In light of the recent changes to UK Law, it is important to highlight our support and expectations from all management, staff, guests and patrons at all times.
The Lifestyle Lounge does not agree with the Supreme Court narrative and refuses to be swayed by political agendas.
Therefore, it is important our policy is written to state our public position on these current affairs and to introduce it as standard reference for our handbook, members’ expectations and all patrons.
We are wholly tolerant and understand the complexities our Trans community face and therefore insist that Trans ladies are treated with exactly the same respect and acknowledgment of their peers.
As a provider of safe spaces, our Trans friends are highly respected members of our community and we will not allow any to be made to feel awkward or unsafe on our premises

GUESTS MUST NOT...
*Ask a Trans lady to go to another toilet or changing area/shower (our toilets are gender-neutral for anyone to use and not split)
*Refer to a Trans lady by any other name apart from her chosen name
*Refer to her as a he/him or any other derogatory term away from anything than her reference of her/she
*Make any sort of negative reference to any area of her body which may be undergoing any sort of medical transition
*Act with berating behaviour in any way and asking personal questions, unless invited to do so
* Act towards making a Trans guest feel uncomfortable because of their female appearance and/or gender identity
Our understanding at The Lifestyle Lounge is that a Trans lady is someone who has identified with a medical professional and lives day-to-day as a female. Therefore will have identification to say they are female.
Please note: Cis men who wish to dress as female once within the premises are not classed as Trans at the door and will be charged as male. However, will be referred to as and treated the same as listed above.
